What information does EVĀIA Beauty need?

EVĀIA Beauty requires your full name, phone number, address, postcode and email address, as well as information about your age and health, medication and previous treatment experiences. Information is collected when you book a treatment online, book treatment over the phone or as part of a consultation process. It is very important that the information I hold about you is always accurate and up to date. Please let me know if at any time your personal information changes by emailing me at contact@evaiabeauty.com and prior to each treatment.

Why do I need it? How will I use it and how long will I retain it?

I require the details listed above in order to ensure that it is safe for me to provide you with treatments you may ask for, and for insurance purposes, as well as to engage in communication with you for appointment confirmation and reminders of appointments, and requests to cancel or change bookings. My marketing policy can be found further down in this policy. I will store your information for 7 years after the date of your treatment, or for 7 years after you have reached the age of 18 if you are/were under 18 when your treatment took place. My lawful basis for processing this personal information is ‘contract’, which means that I have a legal reason to ask you for your data because I need it for contractual reasons. You do not have to share your personal data with me, but if you do not I cannot offer you treatments with EVĀIA Beauty. You must fulfil your side of the contract (share your personal information) in order for me to fulfil mine (carry out treatment).

Will I share your information?

I will never share your information with anyone outside of EVĀIA Beauty unless I have written consent from you.

EVĀIA Beauty is the data controller and processes your personal data laid out in this policy.

My online booking system, Fresha (www.fresha.com), act as a data processor on behalf of EVĀIA Beauty and have access to personal data only when troubleshooting and when support is required by EVĀIA Beauty, who will use your information confidentially. EVĀIA Beauty follows the strict requirements for safely securing your personal data. I have appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.

Access to your information

GDPR gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet my costs in providing you with details of the information I hold about you.

I try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take me longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, I will notify you and keep you updated.
